MEET THE PRINCIPAL ATTORNEY
I was 7 or 8 years old when I wrote my first contract.
I vividly remember making my parents enter into an agreement with me about chores.
They wanted me to clean my room, I wanted to get paid, and I drafted up a contract laying out the terms. I did not agree to clean up a single thing until their signatures were firmly embedded onto my 8.5 X 11 loose leaf paper.
I proudly displayed my work on the kitchen refrigerator to make sure that everyone was on the same page about how this arrangement was going to work so that no one took advantage of my hard work without adequately compensating me.
Decades later, I'm still defending the rights of the emerging contender, but I've learned so much over the years. I now know that it takes a lot more than a contract to protect a business.
And I learned early on in my career that:

Meet Casita Simpson
LEAD PARALEGAL
Casita is a vibrant, tech-savvy certified Paralegal and Notary Public with 13 years of industry experience. She is a born and raised New Yorker and is of Jamaican heritage. Casita loves to work with start-ups to evolve their brand. She takes pride in being an integral part of their business, which is why she is affectionately known as "the start-up paralegal.”
Casita has a passion for learning and advancing in the industry. She can often be found catching up on the latest tech gadget or up-and-coming software.
When Casita is not collaborating with her clients, she enjoys meditation and skydiving in her downtime.
Meet Amanda Pierson, JD
OF COUNSEL
Amanda is an estate planning and probate attorney serving clients in the greater Houston area. Amanda specializes in helping families and small business owners create wills, trusts, and other documents that take a load off the survivors, prevent familial conflict, and protect future generations. Amanda enjoys counseling her clients on using their estate plans to protect their legacy and provide for loved ones in the event of death or incapacity. Amanda aims to give her clients peace of mind that their loved ones' estates will be handled properly and with care.
Amanda is a proud graduate from the College of William and Mary and the University of Texas School of Law.
When Amanda is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

I am a proud alumni of the great University of Georgia (GOOO DAWGS!!! SIC’ EM!!), where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English.
I received my Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, where I represented the school as a speaker and writer for its moot court team and as an editor for one of its highest-ranked legal journals, the Houston International Journal of Law.
I am admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the Federal Southern District of Texas Bar.
I am a supporter and alumni of Gideon's Promise, a movement geared towards transforming the practice of indigent defense.
My first career was as a middle school English teacher, serving as part of the award-winning non-profit, Teach for America Corps Alumni.
I am a first-generation Nigerian-American honored to live out the dreams of those who came before me.
I have stories and lessons for days about how all of these elements of my life help serve my community and my generation, and I still love teaching through these experiences.
